Dinner with snacks and soup that went better than expected. Jaquinzinhos and gizzards, all fresh and tasty (the gizzard sauce was divine), finishing with vegetable soup cooked in a wood-fired iron pot. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the soup! A simple, humble place with friendly and honest people.

A true regional restaurant, with everything a regional restaurant should have.Handwritten menu, local customers coming to the counter, loud chatter and the feijoada à transmontana (dish of the day) as usual: good beans, well cooked in-house, good vegetables, delicious sausages, a treat for the palate!And the ham as a starter? Cut with a knife and with a good local flavor. It wasn't Jabugo or Guijuelo, but it did taste good.The red vinho verde, in the bowls, wasn't bad either.And to finish, some Serra cheese with figs.A real treat!

My partner and I were in this place on Saturday, August 23, 2020, we arrived to eat and were served by a very friendly girl who did everything possible to make sure we understood each other without any problem. We were also assisted by a man, who we assume is the owner of the establishment, who, in addition to advising us and helping us decide, was friendly and very helpful.The food, in addition to being delicious, I didn't even have time to take a photo of how good it was, was abundant and at a very affordable price.We both ate a plate of potatoes with pork steak with an egg, which by the way was extra, rice and salad, the appetizer, bread and three Coca-Colas, a dessert and a coffee, and we paid around 24.The place is cozy, spacious and the people are wonderful.I am left with the good feeling, the good food and above all the good treatment. We will return without a second's hesitation.
